FAQ's

Here are a few questions that many of our customers ask...or wish they had! Please call or email your specific question - we'll be happy to help.

1. Will I need a building permit? Yes. All of the local areas require a permit for pool construction.

2.What do you think my pool will cost and how long do you think it will take? The cost of your project will depend on many things, such as : Size of pool, size of spa, number of jets, type of plumbing, size of waterfall if desired, layout of property, access to property, type and size of pool patio, soil conditions, weather and many other variables. For all of these reasons there is no proper answer to this question without fully executed, well thought -out plan and no road blocks.

3.Will I need to have a fence? YES, with all pools this is required for safety reasons, unless your pool has a screen enclosure.

4. Will my pool affect my homeowners insurance? NO, unless you specifically want to increase your amount of coverage.

5. How much time is involved in maintaining my pool? This is totally up to you, and will depend on the type of system you have installed. Most pool owners spend around 1 - 2 hours weekly on their pool maintenance, but this can be reduced by using automatic pool cleaners.

6. What things could affect my completion date? There are many variables, which include: Local city, county and government approvals, building site inspections, weather conditions, material selections and deliveries, scope of the project, site conditions and etc.. The average pool, complete project from time of excavation to completion is around 12 to 16 weeks.

1) The permit process in many areas can take as much time as the actual construction, so planning far enough ahead of time is critical for on-time completion.

2) Your pool patio or deck will probably be at least as large as the surface area of the proposed pool. In addition, the same size patio or deck could cost 5000.00 or 30,000.00 its all depends on the materials you have selected.
