Custom Pools
The shape of your new pool can be as varied as your imagination can make it.
Only the size of your yard and the limits of your budget will constrain the possibilities. Special attention is given to your potential uses of the pool by our design staff.
Exercise, kids playing, relaxation and therapy are all different uses that may suggest different shapes or depths for the pool design.
Steps, Benches, and Swim-outs
Being able to comfortably and safely gain entrance to and exit from the pool are important considerations. the placement of swim outs, benches and other submerged features enhance the pool design and allow for lounging, or additional means of easily stepping out of the water.
Elevation of Deck
Different elevations of the surrounding deck offer a unique way to enhance or offset the natural surroundings or accent certain pool features such as spas, fountains, planters or sitting areas.
Planters
The addition of landscaping around a pool can often add a natural feel and touch to traditional or exotic "lagoon" type design. Blending rock features with well placed planter areas can naturally accent any pool.
Tile and Deck Colors
The many different deck textures, colors and blending of the two techniques is a sign of real creativity and gives a new pool a truly distinctive look.
Travertine Pavers
Since stone can withstand the ravages of weather and outdoor elements, it is unlikely to be damaged when used in the home or in the outdoors. Aside from its obvious beauty, durability is one of the elements that lead people to choose travertine for home building and home improvement projects. The truth is that travertine is highly resistant to heat, scratching, staining and acidity.
Travertine is available in different colors and finishes, from natural, neutral colors such as creamy white and gold to tan and reddish brown. The color depends quite a bit on the impurities and iron content of the stone.
The different finishes include honed, polished and tumbled. Honed travertine is smooth, but unlike polished, it has a matte finish. Polished travertine is smooth, but buffed and polished until shiny.
